Takata Airbag Recall at Paceway Mitsubishi

Takata Airbag Inflator Recall

We would like to update our Mitsubishi customers of the current recall on Takata airbags. After prolonged exposure to high humidity and high temperature the chemical found in the airbag could absorb moisture and degrade. There will only be a potential problem during an accident.

Mitsubishi Australia’s Directive on this Recall

Whilst there have been no documented cases of drivers or passengers in Mitsubishi vehicles being injured as a result of a defective airbag, Mitsubishi Australia are taking the matter extremely seriously to ensure the safety of the driver & occupants should an accident occur.
